One of a kind Obvara fired geese and goslings. These geese personify people. They celebrate brothers, sisters, friends, parents, children; each have their own personality and are at different stages of life. They are fired with the Eastern European firing technique, Obvara, as it is symbolic of life. We all grow up with different backgrounds, influencing who we become. My birds are influenced by their firing. Sometimes the results are dramatic with colors contrasting or with patterns that are strong. Other times their surface looks shy, and reserved. Find a bird with a pose and surface that represents someone you may want to celebrate or commemorate. Care Instructions These birds are not for out door use. The ultraviolet rays of the sun will bleach out their patterns and design. Indoors, treat them like you would any other piece that you care about. You can wash them with soap and water.
