Baskets

A basket is a vessel to carry and store items. Traditionally we think of them as being woven. The early baskets were made of tree bark, but crumbled after a few uses. My ceramic baskets are functional containers that are either Obvara fired (using the magic brew) or stoneware baskets. Some look like tree bark. They are meant to be used. They are functional as well as aesthetic; creating a mindful environment.
